Our stay on this occasion was absolutely awful .. place was so cold! Got here 20mins early but the chap Adam on reception said rooms weren’t ready and we had to wait even though the place was literally empty... a very serious chap no smile or anything . Had drinks he served us again and then charged us for a shot of blackcurrant to go in Guinness.. sad. Checked into our room took everything in and had a function to attend and then the door wouldn’t lock told reception moved to another room .. and then the lights wouldn’t work., well annoyed at this point . But couldn’t be bothered moving again. The room in itself had cobwebs.. the bedroom was cold .. no heating. The beds mattresses were dipping in the middle we had the most uncomfortable awful night sleep . Honestly they need to change the mattresses ! Had breakfast booked no one to be seen .. coffee was cold .. breakfast was cold hardly anything there .. few mushrooms , few beans,, seemed like they had been there a day or so as dried out! Told the lady on reception apparently the manager verity with dark hair .. instead of listening she had an attitude not what you would expect! So we left hungry! Absolutely awful start to finish! I think as we are regulars down that way definitely will not be going here again ! To say we went back based on previous service we had received it’s sad !

We stay regularly for work it's recently been taken over by new management, hotel it's self no issues and staff are always wants to help but the food was terrible look like something brought from the supermarket, they got rid of the gym really disappointed.

I have no complaints with the room itself, however upon arrival we were asked if we wanted breakfast, to which I said yes and paid the £25 at reception. In the morning when we went down to breakfast at 9am, all of the hot food in the heated containers was cold, and the mushrooms, bacon, baked beans and eggs were all dried up and hard. I went to get a pastry instead but they were physically rock solid. I went to the reception desk with a pastry to show the staffed and banged it on the desk to show how hard it was. I also informed them that all of the hot food was cold and had gone hard and requested a refund. Staff told me that the food was temperature checked 20 minutes prior to us coming down. There was no offer of any fresh food and I was told that I couldn’t have a refund and that I needed to contact Oyo rooms. The lady proceeded to take all the pastries off of the buffet and throw them in the bin, after which we left with no food and no refund. I’m sure you can understand my frustration and I would like to be refunded for the £25 we paid as we received no help from staff and she was rather rude about it.

This place was absolutely great! Love the seating options from the lobby to the restaurant and pub - lots of places to lounge. Rooms are spacious and clean and amenities provided. Special thanks and shout out to Khusbhir, who catered to our requests and made us feel at home.

I recently stayed at Warwickshire Park Hotel, and I have to say I was extremely disappointed. This hotel is nothing short of a low standard establishment with a glaring lack of consistency in room quality and service. My experience with management, particularly with Patrick and Nicole, was particularly frustrating. Instead of addressing my concerns, they adopted a dismissive attitude, suggesting that I should reconsider my stay if I expect better than what they offer, especially when there are numerous 4 and 5-star hotels nearby. The owner’s arrogance is palpable; he seems to believe that his past as a pilot makes him an elite figure who knows better than everyone else. This attitude was not only unprofessional but also detrimental to the hotel's reputation. I've heard from the reception staff that the high turnover of employees is largely due to the owner's inflated ego. While the staff members themselves were helpful, they are clearly working under difficult circumstances because the property desperately needs major investment. It's outdated and barely qualifies as a hotel. Most of the guests I saw were workers, likely due to their employment with HS2, which raises concerns about the overall appeal of the hotel once that project is completed. I can't imagine many people would choose to return here, given the current management style and the state of the property. Unless significant changes are made, I fear this hotel will soon be a thing of the past. Save your money and look elsewhere! Truth will always hurt and I’m sure Patrick knows it deep inside his heart.

Bit of a non standard place this. Location is out in the country Kenilworth way, great for walking and a place to explore, dog friendly for sure and much of the structure is built on old farm buildings (you'll need to duck downstairs if you're taller.) Beer in the bar is kept well and reasonably priced, especially for an hotel, and food for evening meals looked and smelled great, but sadly we'd eaten before checking in. Breakfast was OK, albeit laid out a little oddly. Now the not so good stuff. The rooms were a lottery. In our party we had one pretty good room and problems with all the others. One room had a door that didn't work with the keycards and it took multiple visits to reception to discover it was one that was playing up and needed a dedicated card. One had a tap which wouldn't turn off, one had a water leak, shower not working in another, hot water hot enough to burn and so on. Anyway, my particular room was a double with a bunk bed, handy for young family wanting a break away. No AC and a bit of a rattly window (no view to speak of from my room, but some of them would have a great view. Decent sized telly, but no channels tuned in and wouldn't retune. Few other odd things, the fridge in the room was just a small freestanding fridge at the edge of the room, not built in. There was a safe (locked, with no instructions, didn't bother asking for help to open it as it was only an overnight stop) but no iron or hairdryer. May get them from reception, but an odd thing to be missing. Even more odd was no desk or chairs/stools and no bin in the main bedroom, just one in bathroom and no tissues. Three coat hangers and not a lot of storage space for a family room also felt odd. Bed was comfy, but lot of noise from the corridor, including a beeping door card opposite, so not the best sleep. Bit of a lack of sockets too, so it was a case of choosing bedside light or charge phone. Overall it felt like the bar/restaurant was OK, but the rooms were a lottery as to whether you got a nice one or one that just felt unfinished. Some of the staff seemed to be a bit new and tried to help, but overall, not somewhere I'd recommend unless you happen to go at low occupancy and have the option to pick rooms. Few more quid spent on the place and it could be cracking, but as it is, just felt lacking in a number of ways. Keep your eye on reviews to see if the gaps get filled.

Location was awful, in the middle of a country road, room I booked , you couldnt swing a cat in it! The double bed took up 85% of the room. The bathroom was a shower, which was very good. I thought I had reserved a double king room with separate bath and shower as shown on site, but not correct. Disappointed and wouldnt return.

The staff were lovely and welcoming. Rooms were spacious, comfy and spotless. We booked a countryside view room and the view was amazing! The buffet breakfast in the morning was delicious and had loads of options to choose from, there is something for everyone! Overall great stay and great value for money, would highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

Lovely hotel, decor is very inviting. Picked this hotel for location, the countryside around is beautiful. Lots of local places to visit and walk to go on. We also took our dog as the hotel is pet friendly, this was a must for us, he was very fussed over by staff and loved every minute. Staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. We stayed for two nights, the room was lovely, spacious, huge comfy bed. We opted for breakfast as there were so many choices! It didn't disappoint. We ate in the bar in the evenings, lovely cosy atmosphere, the food was soo good. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

I love countryside hotels and this is one of my favs. Unique history, the restaurant area is over 500 years old, cosy rooms and lovely staff. It's close to nearby towns and other historical monuments. Trust me when I say, you wanna give this place a try next time you are traveling through Warwickshire.

This could be a super nice and cozy hotel. But rooms need a makeover and installations (shower) are not well maintained unfortunately. Breakfast has variety but kind of the lowest quality of every item. The coffee is awful 😞 For a night it's okay. It's really a pity because it could be such a nice place with small changes, gradual makeover and better maintenance.

Cracking hotel for price. Clean, friendly staff and really impress with how accommodating they were for a gluten free diet. Would stay again
